The annual Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) Convention is the world’s premier international event for the minerals and mining industry. It regularly attracts more than 25,000 people from 135 countries and is an opportunity for the mining sector to promote a globally responsible, vibrant and sustainable minerals industry.
Greg McNab, Partner at Baker & McKenzie and Global Head of Mining stresses the themes of PDAC 2019 will fall along the lines of external and internal issues. On the external front, US trade reform and Brexit are top of mind for PDAC attendees, while improving gender equality and indigenous issues are front and centre internally.
